School of Law & Justice

The Department of Law and Criminal Justice offers programs for those persons who are interested in careers associated with Law or the justice system. The curriculum is designed to teach students the principles and practice of law. Two programs are offered: paralegal studies and criminal justice.

In each case focus is on preparing students for professional careers in the major areas of legal services, law enforcement, security services, court services and corrections by combining academically challenging coursework with practical work experience. Both programs provide the necessary foundational preparation for students who wish to continue their education at the bachelor’s level and beyond. In fact, the college has established several articulation agreements that provide for easy matriculation upon completion of their studies at BIBT.
